巴吉度的选购与饲养


简介：
      巴吉度犬，也有的称法国短脚猎犬，英文名：Basset Hound。体高30-48厘米,体重21-25公斤,原产法国，据说是由埃及格雷特猎犬延续繁衍而来的。该犬毛质为硬性滑质短毛，皮肤有弹性，毛色为猎犬的颜色，由黑色、黄褐色、白色构成三色毛。长身短脚，大而长的垂耳、鼻子嗅觉很敏锐。原被训练为专门捕捉野免、雉鸡等。其腿虽短，但因具有敏锐的嗅觉和长久的耐力，仍不失为追捕猎物的好手。该犬脸部似乎永远保持着一种哀伤的表情，但实际性格活泼开朗，聪明、柔顺、听话，善解人意，忠厚可爱。随着时代的变迁，该犬的用途也逐渐由狩猎改为人的伴侣了，应该是极适合家庭饲养的犬种。

选购要点：
      应选择骨骼壮实，四肢短矮，头耳硕大、多皱褶，眼睛暗褐色系，下眼睑呈袋状，鼻宽阔色黑，唇多肉下垂，胸宽深而厚实，尾粗壮、略呈钩状的剑状尾者。耳根低的大垂耳，皮肤有弹性，保持弯曲状的尾巴。 

饲养要点：
      在日常护理方面，BASSET HOUND 最麻烦的地方就是它那长长的耳朵，因为它丝绒般的耳朵长掉下来，缺乏空气的循环，非常容易引起耳朵发炎。当它的主人必须要每日帮它清洁耳朵。除了它耳朵的问题和常流口水之外，基本上它是一只十分容易打理的宠物。
